Can my child receive help in reading or writing at CLaRI?
The Center for Literacy and Reading Instruction (CLaRI) helps children in both reading and writing.
We provide several levels of service:
-
testing or assessment of reading and writing difficulties
recommendations for instruction based on assessment and evaluation
instruction and help for children on site at the UB Center for Literacy and Reading Instruction
The number of children we can provide services to is limited, so please apply early. More information, application forms, and fees >
How often do you offer instruction or help for children who are struggling readers or writers?
We offer instructional services twice a week, typically for a 12-14 week period.
Is there a fee for services my child receives through CLaRI?
Yes. There is an initial fee for assessing your child's literacy (reading or writing) needs. If children receive instruction in the Center, there is an additional fee. More information on fees >
If I am a teacher, can I refer a child to CLaRI for help?
